Collections
Track a project's links in a table or board with your own columns and saved views.
A collection is a project view over bookmarks you already have. You give the collection its own columns (called properties), such as Status, Owner, or Priority, and save views that filter and lay out the items as a table or a board.
Adding a bookmark to a collection doesn’t copy it. The same bookmark can be in several collections at once, with different property values in each. Removing it from a collection, or deleting the whole collection, leaves the bookmark itself untouched.
Create a collection
- Open Collections in the sidebar.
- Type a name in New collection and create it.
- Select Add bookmarks, then search for existing bookmarks and add them.
Add properties
Select New property, give it a name, choose a type, and select Create property. The types are:
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Text | Free text, such as a short summary |
| Number | Quantities, estimates, or scores |
| Select | One option from a list, such as a status |
| Multi-select | Several options from a list, such as labels |
| Date | A date, either date only or date and time |
| Checkbox | Yes/no, such as “reviewed” |
| URL | A second link, such as a related document |
For Select and Multi-select, add the options and choose a color for each.
Fill in properties by editing the cells in the table.
Views
A view is a saved way of looking at the collection. It never copies records. Select New view, name it, and choose a type:
- Table shows items in rows with a column for each property.
- Board groups items into columns by a Select property, for example one column per status. Drag a card to another column to change its value.
To filter a view, select Add a filter clause, choose a property, an operator, and a value, then Apply filter. Filters are saved with the view, so each colleague can keep views like “My open items” or “Due this week”.
Share a collection
Select Share collection, search for colleagues by name or email, and share. They can view the collection and its items but can’t change them. Select Revoke to stop sharing at any time; their access ends immediately. See Sharing.
Show a collection on a page
You can embed a live view of a collection in a page, for example to keep a project’s status board next to its notes.
If two people edit at once
If a colleague changes the same item, property, or view while you’re working on it, Superbrain shows a conflict and doesn’t overwrite their change. Reload and make your change again.
