Pages

Markdown documents that collect the links, notes, and project views for a topic.

Pages are Markdown notes that collect links into a workspace. Use one page per project, client, meeting series, or topic. A bookmark can appear on many pages at once without being copied.

Create a page

Select New page in the sidebar, or open Quick find (Ctrl+K or ⌘K) and choose New page. To create a page inside another one, hover over the parent page in the sidebar and select New subpage. You can also change a page’s Parent later.

Give the page a title, then start writing.

Write

Pages use Markdown. You can type it directly, or use the block menu:

  • Type / to insert a block: Text, Heading 1–3, Bulleted list, Numbered list, To-do list, Quote, Code, or Divider.
  • Type [] followed by a space to start a to-do item.
  • Paste a web address and Superbrain offers to turn it into a titled link.

Superbrain saves as you type. Watch the save indicator. If a save fails, your draft is kept in the current browser tab and you can select Save now to try again.

If the page was changed elsewhere

If the same page was saved from another tab or device, autosave pauses instead of overwriting the newer version. Choose one:

  • Overwrite with my draft replaces the newer version with yours.
  • Save my draft as a new page keeps both.
  • Discard my draft and load latest throws away your changes.

Under Links on this page, select Add link, then search your bookmarks or paste a new address. Links appear as cards under the text. Select Remove from page to take a link off the page; the bookmark itself isn’t deleted.

  • Link a page inserts a link to another page. Each page shows the pages that link to it, so you can move between related notes in both directions.
  • Embed a collection shows a live view of a collection inside the page, for example a project status board at the top of a project page.

Organize pages

In the sidebar you can drag pages to reorder them, pin important ones to the top, rename them, and move them to the trash. Pinned and unpinned pages are kept in separate groups.

History

Select Version history to see earlier saved versions of a page. Select a version to preview it, then restore it if needed.

Download

Select Download .md to save the page as a Markdown file, for example to put it in Nextcloud or BookStack.
