Sharing
Share bookmarks, tags, dates, and collections with colleagues, or publish a bookmark as a public link.
Everything you add to Superbrain is private to you until you share it. You can share with colleagues in your organization, or publish a single bookmark for anyone with the link.
What you can share
| Share | Recipients see | Where to do it |
|---|---|---|
| A bookmark | That bookmark and its notes | The bookmark’s details, under Sharing |
| A tag | Every bookmark with that tag, including ones added later by anyone who shares the tag | Tags, select the tag |
| A calendar date | Your bookmarks due that day, with their notes | Calendar, select the day |
| A collection | The collection, its items, and its views | The collection, Share collection |
To share, search for the person by name or email and select them. Colleagues appear in the list once they’ve signed in to Superbrain at least once.
Shared items are read only for recipients. Only the owner can edit, move, or delete them.
What stays private
Recipients see the link and its content. They never see:
- the contact attached to the bookmark,
- your alerts,
- your mailbox watches and email signals,
- who else it’s shared with.
Stop sharing
Open the item and select Stop sharing (for collections, Revoke) next to the person. Their access ends straight away, and the bookmark disappears from any of their collections.
Public links
A public link lets anyone with the address view one bookmark, without signing in. Use it to send a curated link and your notes to someone outside your organization.
- Open the bookmark’s details.
- Under Sharing, turn on public access.
- Copy the link.
Before you turn it on, Superbrain shows exactly what will be published: the title, description, notes, due date, tags, and preview. Contacts, alerts, mailbox watches, and your identity stay private.
Turn public access off again to disable the link.
